Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled, self-sufficient Blood Bank Specialists to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in complex immunohematology and be capable of working with minimal supervision. Compensation & Openings

Hourly Rate: $54.34 - $69.20 per hour (dependent on experience)

Shift Hours

Evening Shift Monday - Friday, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM

Night Shift Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

Immunohematology Testing: Perform advanced manual tube testing (ABO/RH), complex antibody identifications, elutions, and crossmatching.

Quality Control: Manage, execute, and document strict QC protocols to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Data Management: Utilize Epic and SafeTrace systems efficiently for patient records, tracking, and results entry.

Independent Workflow: Efficiently manage high-complexity workloads and critical situations with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Requirements

Certification: Must possess an active MLS (ASCP or AMT) certification.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of dedicated, recent blood bank experience.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience with manual tube testing is strictly required.

Skills: Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
