Digital Marketing and Event Specialist

The Digital Marketing and Event Specialist is a data-driven, execution-focused role responsible for supporting integrated demand generation programs across digital channels and live events. This position is part of the Marketing Communications team and partners closely with Sales and Operations to drive pipeline growth, optimize marketing performance, and enhance the customer journey across multiple touchpoints.

This role is ideal for a technically inclined marketer with hands-on experience in marketing automation, CRM systems, campaign execution, and trade show/event logistics and management. An ideal candidate in this role thrives in a small company where they will be responsible for hands-on activities in our Essex location, managing our marketing third-party vendors, and optimizing our social media campaigns.

Digital Campaigns & Automation

  • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across email, paid media, and organic channels to drive lead generation and pipeline growth
  • Manage our CRM and marketing automation platforms (MS Dynamics, Click Dimensions or similar), including lead scoring, segmentation, database hygiene, and lifecycle management
  • Develop and execute automated nurture programs aligned to buyer stages, and ensure proper attribution and tracking across all digital touchpoints

Event Marketing

  • Plan and execute trade shows and sales events as part of integrated demand generation campaigns
  • Handle everything from pre-event promotion and onsite engagement to post-event follow-up workflows
  • Manage logistics, product packing and freight, vendor relationships, budgets, and ROI reporting

Analytics & Collaboration

  • Monitor KPIs (CTR, conversion rate, pipeline contribution) and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Partner with the MARCOM team to develop and deploy content across email, web, and social channels
  • Support sales enablement by delivering timely marketing materials and campaign insights
  • Coordinate and execute the social media content calendar

What You Bring

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field (required)
  • Background in scientific, laboratory, or technical products a plus
  • 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
  • 1 year of tradeshow coordination experience, preferred
  • Proven hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • A data-driven mindset. You measure what matters and act on what you find
  • Trade show and event logistics experience; you know how to keep a dozen things on track at once
  • Strong collaboration skills across Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams
  • A bias for execution. You don't just plan, you follow through

Travel Requirements

Hybrid model of remote and in office at our Essex, CT location with periodic domestic and international travel that may be required for conferences/events, training purposes, supporting sales initiatives, and tradeshow support.

Compensation

Non-exempt position, annualized compensation $60,000 - $75,000.
