About the Position:

Established medical clinic seeking a professional, dependable, and bilingual (Spanish/English) Medical Receptionist to join our front office team.

The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a positive and efficient office experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Being tech savvy with EHR/EMRs, Google Drive, Google Suite and AI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Collect co-pays and balances.
• Manage patient intake forms and documentation.
• Process referrals and authorizations (preferred).
• Maintain accurate records within electronic medical systems.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
• Follow established office policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Spanish and English (required).
• Minimum 1 year medical front office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HMO, PPO, and Medi-Cal plans (preferred).
• Experience using electronic medical record systems.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Google Drive, Google Suite and AI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude.
