Office of Deputy Commissioner is seeking a Fingerprint Specialist in Bismarck, ND out of the WCBHC office.
Join our team as a Fingerprint Specialist and play an important role in supporting the safety and compliance of ND Health & Human Services.
As a Fingerprint Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying and submitting fingerprint-based background checks in compliance with FBI requirements. This includes validating government-issued photo identification, ensuring all necessary information is correctly collected, and assisting individuals with completing additional forms as needed. In this role, you will perform precise fingerprint rolling and submission procedures, ensuring all records are processed accurately, securely, and in accordance with established confidentiality standards. At times, you may also be responsible for troubleshooting fingerprinting equipment and coordinating maintenance or technical support to ensure minimal disruption to services.
To be successful in this position, you must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you will work directly with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You should be comfortable working with technology, following detailed procedures, and managing multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
To be considered for this position, you must have an associate's degree or four (4) years of office support, clerical, or administrative work experience.

This position is located onsite at the West Central Behavioral Health Clinic in Bismarck, North Dakota.
