Job Description

HR Generalist / Recruiter (Contract) Location: Neptune City, NJ 07753 (100% On-site)

Pay Rate: $37.00 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time, 40 hours/week)

Duration: Immediate Start – February 1, 2027 

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist / Recruiter to join our team for a defined contract coverage role. Working on-site at our Neptune City facility, you will support a premier, globally recognized leader in the consumer goods and manufacturing space. This is a mid-to-senior level support role perfect for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced production and distribution environment and can hit the ground running. Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–10 years of progressive HR and recruiting experience. Please note: This is not a junior-level position.

  • Industry Background: Proven experience within the Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, or Distribution sectors is highly preferred.

  • Industry Exclusions: Candidates with primary backgrounds in Pharmaceuticals or Banking will not be considered for this specific manufacturing-focused environment.

  • Tech Stack: Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or payroll platforms is a strong plus (specifically Dayforce, HireRight, or JobVite).

  • Core Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an eager, proactive approach to learning company-specific workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Lifecycle Recruiting: Manage varying recruitment volume, currently focusing heavily on high-priority maintenance/technical roles and core marketing positions (sourcing, screening, and scheduling).

  • HR Operations: Serve as a central point of contact for day-to-day employee inquiries and provide comprehensive HR support across all levels of staff.

  • Compliance & Admin: Maintain accurate personnel files, ensure strict documentation compliance, and assist with general administrative tasks.

  • (Note: This role focuses on recruitment and core operations; Employee Relations [ER] is handled by a separate team).
